ZAP aim to go the extra mile for their clients to create something truly bespoke and thought provoking. Scale is something that interests ZAP meaning no job is too big, too small or unworthy. ZAP wait anxiously on new and exciting briefs to engage with because ‘boring’ is not something we do well.  Pol Gallagher scoops the $100,000 OMG! Fund from Airbnb to design a pod in his home county of Donegal, Ireland   Pol Gallagher, lecturer in interior design and architecture at the University of East London  (UEL), has won an international competition with Airbnb worth around $100,000 to design a housing pod in Donegal, Ireland.    #PolGallagherzap   The $100,000 OMG! Fund  was organised by Airbnb , an online marketspace connecting people with short-term homestays and experiences.   Pol Gallagher The Stratford-based company team, led by Pol Gallagher with Wykean Lee, Xin Suan and Patryk Baczkowsi – proposed a wheelchair-accessible treehouse for Donegal, Ireland. It is understood to the be the only UK-based winner from the architecture sector.   The OMG! Fund competition set out to select 100 teams to design, deliver and host a ‘jaw-dropping’ structure to provide overnight accommodation for customers using the online platform, which was founded 15 years ago and has an annual revenue of around $4.81 billion (£3.92 billion).   #PolGallagher   Professional and aspiring architects and designers were invited to draw up ‘offbeat’ concepts for the $10 million (£8.14 million) competition.
